Scorched Ash Incense holder

This is made from English Ash and scorched using the ancient Japanese method called Shou Sugi ban. The scorching seals the wood, makes it resistant to fire, anti-bacterial and brings out the beautiful grain of the wood.

There is a crack in this item which is a natural part of the charring process.
